If you are driving, use a GPS device or a map application and enter the address '406-1 Zoshicho, Nara, 630-8211'. From Osaka, take the Nishi-Ikebukuro Route (Route 170) towards Nara. Follow the signs for Nara, and take the exit toward Nara Park. Once you reach Nara Park, look for signs to Todaiji Temple. The Kagami-ike Pond is located just a short walk from the temple. Parking is available in the vicinity, but be prepared to pay parking fees, which typically range from 500 to 1000 yen depending on the lot you choose.

To reach Todaiji Kagami-ike Pond by train, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Osaka Namba Station and travel to Kintetsu Nara Station. This journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Kintetsu Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the Nara Park area. You can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local bus towards Todaiji Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall). The bus fare is around 210 yen. After getting off at the bus stop, follow the signs for Todaiji Temple, and Kagami-ike Pond is a short walk from there.

If you are already in Nara city, you can take a local bus from Nara Station. Look for the bus routes that go to Todaiji Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall). The bus fare is about 210 yen.
