Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Get off at Nara Station. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the bus terminal.

At the Nara Station bus terminal, take the Nara Kotsu Bus (No. 2 or No. 3) towards Kasuga Taisha. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the Kasuga Taisha stop.
