Car
If you're traveling by car, take the Meishin Expressway from Kyoto. Exit at Moriyama and follow Route 1 towards Moriyama city. After about 10 minutes, look for signs directing you to Mizuhocho. Turn onto Prefectural Road 28 and continue for about 3 km until you reach the Sagawa Art Museum, located at 2891-44 Mizuhocho, Moriyama, Shiga 524-0102. There is parking available at the museum.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the JR Biwako Line from Kyoto Station to Moriyama Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Moriyama Station, you can take a taxi directly to the Sagawa Art Museum, which is approximately 15 minutes away (around 2,000-3,000 yen). Alternatively, you can take a local bus from the station; look for the Bus No. 8 that goes towards Mizuhocho. Get off at the Sagawa Art Museum bus stop. The bus fare is approximately 210 yen.

Combination of Train and Bus
Another option is to take the JR Biwako Line to Hamaotsu Station, which is about 25 minutes from Kyoto Station. From Hamaotsu Station, transfer to the local bus service to Mizuhocho. You can catch the bus right outside the station, and it will take about 25 minutes to reach the Sagawa Art Museum. The total cost for the train and bus will be around 800 yen.
