    If you're driving to Saikyo-ji Temple from central Kyoto, take the Meishin Expressway (名神高速道路) and exit at Otsu IC. Follow Route 1 towards Otsu and then take Route 161 towards Sakamoto. After about 15 minutes, look for signs directing you to Saikyo-ji Temple, located at 5 Chome-13-1 Sakamoto, Otsu, Shiga. There is parking available near the temple. Please note that there may be toll fees on the expressway.

    To reach Saikyo-ji Temple using public transportation, first take the JR Kosei Line from Kyoto Station to Otsu Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
