If you are driving, head towards Otsu in Shiga Prefecture. Hiyoshi Taisha is located at 5 Chome-1-1 Sakamoto, Otsu, Shiga 520-0113. From Kyoto, take Route 1 heading north, which will lead you toward Otsu. After about 30 minutes of driving, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Hiyoshi Taisha. Parking is available near the shrine, but be aware that it may have a small fee depending on the lot.

To reach Hiyoshi Taisha using public transportation, take the JR Kosei Line from Kyoto Station to Sakamoto Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sakamoto Station, exit the station and walk towards the shrine. It's around a 15-minute walk from the station. As you walk, follow the signs leading to Hiyoshi Taisha, which will guide you along the scenic route.
