Getting There

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Kyoto Station, board the Kyoto City Bus #100 or #206 heading towards the "Nanzenji" stop. The journey takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive at the "Nanzenji" stop, exit the bus and walk north for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the beautiful Nanzen-ji Temple on your right. Continue straight until you reach Daimon at 86-10 Nanzenji Fukuchicho, which will be on your left.

Walking
If you are in the Gion district, walk to the nearest bus stop and take a bus to "Nanzenji". Alternatively, you can walk directly to Daimon. Head northwest from Gion towards Shijo Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Sanjo Street, turn left, and walk until you reach the Kyoto City Bus terminal. Here, take the Kyoto City Bus #100 or #206 to "Nanzenji". From there, follow the previous walking directions to Daimon.

Take the Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station to the "Kitaoji" station. From Kitaoji, transfer to bus #204 and ride it to the "Nanzenji" stop. Once you disembark, walk north along the road for about 10 minutes, passing Nanzen-ji Temple, until you reach Daimon at 86-10 Nanzenji Fukuchicho.
