    If you are traveling by car, start from Settsu and take the Meishin Expressway. Follow signs for Osaka and Kyoto. Take the exit toward Kyoto and merge onto the Kyoto Jukan Expressway. Continue on the expressway until you reach the exit for Nanzenji. Once you exit, follow the signs for Nanzenin. There is parking available nearby, but it's advisable to arrive early as spaces can fill up quickly. The entrance fee to Nanzenin is 400 yen.

    For those using public transportation, begin your journey by taking a train from Settsu to Kyoto Station. You can take the JR Tokaido Line or the Hankyu Kyoto Line.
