  • Public Transport - Subway

    Start your journey at Kyoto Station. Take the Karasuma Line (green line) towards Kokusai Kaikan. After 5 stops, get off at Marutamachi Station. Exit the station and head north on Marutamachi Street. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance to Kyoto Omiya Imperial Palace, located in Kamigyo Ward.

    From Kyoto Station, take bus number 205 or 17. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Kyoto Gyoen Maen' stop. From the bus stop, walk north towards the Imperial Palace, which will be on your left. Follow the signs to the palace entrance.
