Once you arrive, there is parking available nearby, but be aware that there may be parking fees depending on the duration of your stay.
Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
Begin your journey by taking the train to Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and head to Marutamachi Station. Upon exiting Marutamachi Station, look for bus stop 'Marutamachi Shogoin' and board the bus number 203 or 205. Get off at the 'Kenreimon' bus stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Boulevard before Kenreimon Gate. The total cost for the train and bus should be around 500-600 yen.

If you are already in the vicinity of Kyoto Gyoen National Garden, you can walk to Boulevard before Kenreimon Gate. Simply enter the garden from any access point and follow the signage directing you towards Kenreimon Gate. The boulevard is well-marked and is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the main entrances of the garden.
