Getting There

  • Public Transport - Subway

    Start at Kyoto Station. Take the Karasuma Line subway northbound towards Kokusai Kaikan. Ride for 4 stops and get off at Shijo Station. From Shijo Station, exit through the Karasuma Exit. Once outside, walk towards the intersection and turn left onto Shijo Street.

    Continue walking along Shijo Street until you reach the intersection with Nishiki Market. You can explore the market briefly if you wish. After that, head towards the nearby Kawaramachi Street and turn right. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Sanjo Street.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    At Sanjo Station, look for the bus stop. Take bus number 204 or 205 towards Mibudera. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next bus. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Mibudera bus stop.
