Experience Omi Jingu

Getting There

  • Train

    Start your journey at Kyoto Station. Take the JR Biwako Line (also known as the JR Kosei Line) towards Otsu. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Otsu Station, exit the station and head towards the south exit.

  • Bus

    From the south exit of Otsu Station, look for the bus stop for the 'Omi Jingu' bus. Take the bus marked 'Omi Jingu' (it should be a direct route). The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Omi Jingu' bus stop.

  • Walking

    After getting off the bus at the Omi Jingu bus stop, walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes. You will see the entrance to Omi Jingu on your left. The shrine is surrounded by beautiful gardens, making the walk quite pleasant.
