If you are driving from central Kyoto, take the Meishin Expressway and head towards Otsu. Take the Otsu exit and follow Route 1 towards Otsu city center. After approximately 10 minutes, turn onto Route 161 towards Lake Biwa. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers. Follow the signs for Suikanji, which will lead you to Onjojicho.
