If you are traveling by car, start from central Mutsu and head east on Route 280 towards Aomori city. After approximately 40 km (about 50 minutes), keep an eye out for signs directing you to Aomori. Take the exit for Route 4 towards Aomori and continue for about 10 km. Once you reach Aomori city, follow the signs to 2 Chome-2-1 Okidate, where the Aomori Museum of History is located. There is free parking available at the museum.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Mutsu, take a local bus to Aomori city. The bus departs from Mutsu Station and takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. You will need to purchase a ticket when boarding, which typically costs around 1,500 JPY. Once you arrive at Aomori Station, transfer to the local bus (e.g., Aomori City Bus) that goes to the Aomori Museum of History. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes, and you can pay around 300 JPY for this trip. Make sure to get off at the Okidate stop, then walk about 5 minutes to the museum.
