Getting There

Car
From Omi, head north on Route 8 towards Tateyama. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 41. Turn left onto Route 41 and follow the signs to Tateyama. After about 15 km, you will reach a fork; take the right fork to stay on Route 41. Continue for another 10 km until you see signs for Ashikuraji. Turn right onto Ashikuraji Road and follow it for 5 km until you reach the parking area near Onidake.

Public Transportation
From Omi Station, take the JR Hokuriku Line towards Toyama. Get off at Tateyama Station (approximately 1 hour travel). Once at Tateyama Station, you can take a local bus that heads towards Ashikuraji. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to check the local bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive at the Ashikuraji bus stop, it's a short walk to the Onidake trailhead.
