Car
From Omi, take Route 8 north towards Toyama. After approximately 30 kilometers, merge onto Route 41 towards Tateyama. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach Ashikuraji. Mount Tate is located nearby, and you can find parking areas in Ashikuraji for hiking access.

Public Transportation
From Omi, take a train from Omi Station to Toyama Station (about a 45-minute ride). Once at Toyama Station, transfer to the Toyama Chiho Railway and take the train towards Tateyama Station. This leg of the journey takes about 1 hour. After reaching Tateyama Station, you will need to take a taxi or a local bus to Ashikuraji, which is approximately a 15-minute drive. The taxi fare should be around 2,000 to 3,000 yen.
