Car
If you're driving from central Shinano, head north on Route 117 towards Nagano. After about 10 kilometers, keep an eye out for Route 292, which you will take by turning left. Continue on Route 292 for approximately 15 kilometers, and you will arrive at Shibu Hot Spring, located at 2215 Hirao, Yamanochi, Shimotakai District, Nagano 381-0401. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for a parking fee that may range between 500 to 1000 yen depending on the time of year.

Take the Nagano Electric Railway from Shinano Station to Yudanaka Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. At Yudanaka Station, transfer to a local bus bound for Shibu Onsen.
