To reach Awagatake via public transportation, start by taking a train from Suruga Station to Kakegawa Station on the Tokaido Line. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kakegawa Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located nearby. Take the bus heading towards Higashiyama. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Higashiyama bus stop. From there, you may need to walk for about 1 kilometer to reach Awagatake. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may vary.
