The Honmaru Hall is located at 1 Kawauchi, Aoba Ward, Sendai, Miyagi 980-0862. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking fees which can vary.

To reach Aoba Castle Honmaru Hall from Zao Onsen using public transportation, begin by taking a bus from Zao Onsen to Yamagata Station. The bus ride typically takes about 45 minutes. From Yamagata Station, take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Sendai Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Sendai Station, transfer to the Sendai City Bus. Take the bus route that goes to Aoba Castle. Disembark at the Aoba Castle stop, and from there, it's a short walk to the Honmaru Hall located at 1 Kawauchi, Aoba Ward, Sendai. Be aware of the transport costs: the bus from Zao Onsen to Yamagata Station is around ¥1,500, the Shinkansen ticket is approximately ¥2,500, and the bus fare in Sendai is about ¥200.
