From Zao Onsen, take Route 457 toward Sendai. The drive is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, covering around 30 kilometers. Once you reach Sendai, follow the signs for Aoba Ward. You will arrive at Aoba-33-2 Aramaki, where Naritasan Temple is located. Parking is available near the temple, but be mindful of any fees that may apply.

Public Transportation
From Zao Onsen, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the bus heading to Shiroishi Station. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once at Shiroishi Station, transfer to the JR Tohoku Shinkansen and take the train to Sendai Station, which takes around 30 minutes. After arriving at Sendai Station, exit and take the subway (Namboku Line) to Aoba-dori Ichibancho Station. From there, it’s a 20-minute walk to Naritasan Temple (Aoba-33-2 Aramaki, Aoba Ward, Sendai). Ensure you check the bus and train schedules for departure times. Total cost for this journey will be approximately 1,500 yen.
