Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Jordan Pond House, exit the building and head north on the Jordan Pond Path. Follow the path as it winds through the woods, keeping the pond on your right. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with the Bubble Pond Path. Turn left onto Bubble Pond Path and continue walking for another 0.3 miles until you reach the junction with the Park Loop Road. Cross the road carefully and follow the path leading towards the intersection with ME-3. Once you reach ME-3, turn left and walk along the road for approximately 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Asticou Azalea Garden on your right, just before the junction with Asticou Drive.

Bicycling
From the Bar Harbor area, you can take the Carriage Roads that lead toward the Park Loop Road. Start at the entrance of the Carriage Road near the visitor center and head toward the Jordan Pond area. Once you reach the junction with the Park Loop Road, turn left and follow the road until you reach ME-3. Be sure to ride safely and watch for traffic. After about 1 mile on ME-3, you will find the entrance to Asticou Azalea Garden on your right.
