Walking
If you are in Acadia National Park and wish to reach Thuya Garden, start by heading towards Northeast Harbor. You can walk from the Jordan Pond area, which is approximately 2.5 miles away. Follow the Jordan Pond Path south until you reach the road. Turn left onto the road and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 198. Turn right onto Route 198 and follow it for about 1 mile until you reach the entrance to Northeast Harbor. As you enter the harbor area, look for signs directing you to Thuya Garden. Continue walking on Thuya Drive, and you will find the garden at 15 Thuya Dr, Northeast Harbor, ME 04662.

For those who prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Bar Harbor. Start your journey by biking along the Park Loop Road towards Northeast Harbor. Once you reach the intersection with Route 198, turn left and continue biking on Route 198 until you arrive at Northeast Harbor. Look for Thuya Drive and turn onto it. The garden is located at 15 Thuya Dr, Northeast Harbor, ME 04662, and is just a short ride from the main road.

Public Transportation
Acadia National Park does not have extensive public transportation, but you can use the Island Explorer shuttle service, which operates in the summer months. Catch the shuttle from any of the major stops within the park, ensuring you are on the route that goes to Northeast Harbor. Once you arrive in Northeast Harbor, disembark at the stop closest to the harbor area. From there, you can walk to Thuya Garden by following the directions provided above. The garden is located at 15 Thuya Dr, Northeast Harbor, ME 04662.
