From Chamarel Coloured Earth, head east on Route C7. Continue on this road for approximately 3.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route A10. Turn left onto Route A10. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see signs for Valriche Dam. Turn right onto GCXX+FR8, where the dam is located. Parking is available near the entrance.

Start at the Chamarel bus stop. Take a bus heading towards Souillac or Le Morne. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to Chamouny, which is about 5 kilometers from Chamarel. After getting off, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer towards GCXX+FR8. Look for signs directing you to Valriche Dam as you approach.
