Bus
From the center of Mahebourg, walk to the nearest bus stop on Royal Road. Look for a bus heading towards Le Morne. The bus will take you along the coastal road, providing beautiful views of the ocean. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the Le Morne stop. From there, walk towards the beach area, and you will see the stunning Le Morne mountain in front of you.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the local scenery, you can walk from Mahebourg to Le Morne. Start at the waterfront in Mahebourg and follow the coastal path. It will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours, but you’ll be treated to beautiful views of the lagoon and the local flora. Keep heading south until you reach the Le Morne area.
Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Mahebourg. Once you have your bike, head towards the coastal road, taking the route that goes past the airport. Follow the signs for Le Morne. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Be sure to stop along the way to take in the beautiful views!
