    If you're driving from Cancun, take the Highway 307 south towards Tulum. After approximately 100 km, you will reach the Tulum exit (exit 231). Continue on Highway 109 towards Coba. Follow the signs, and after about 44 km, you will reach Zona arqueológica de Coba. Make sure to have cash for the entrance fee, which is around 80 MXN.

  • Public Transportation - ADO Bus

    From Cancun, you can take an ADO bus to Tulum. Buses depart frequently from the ADO terminal. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and costs about 200 MXN. Once in Tulum, you can catch a local colectivo (shared van) to Coba, which costs around 50 MXN and takes about 45 minutes. Be aware that colectivos operate until early evening, so plan accordingly.

  • Public Transportation - Colectivo

    If you are in Playa del Carmen, you can take a colectivo to Tulum and then transfer to another colectivo to Coba. The entire journey will cost approximately 120-150 MXN and take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Zona arqueológica de Coba.
