Turn left onto the road that leads to Coba, and continue for approximately 20 km until you reach the archaeological site. There is a parking area available for visitors. Note that there may be a parking fee, typically around 50 pesos.

From Playa del Carmen, locate the ADO bus terminal and board a bus to Tulum. The ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once in Tulum, you can find local collectivos (shared vans) that head to Coba. These collectivos leave from the Tulum bus station and cost around 40 pesos per person. The ride to Coba should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Coba, you can walk to the archaeological site, which is about 2 km from the collectivo drop-off point.

From Tulum, you can also take a taxi directly to Zona arqueológica de Coba. This option is more expensive, typically costing between 400-600 pesos for a one-way trip, depending on your negotiating skills and the time of day. The taxi ride should take around 30 minutes.
