    From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head east towards the main road (Siddhicharan Highway). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road heading to Kathmandu. At this junction, turn left onto the road towards Kathmandu. Follow this road for about 9 kilometers, passing by local shops and eateries. You will notice signs directing you to the National Museum. Look for 'Museum Marg' on your left. Turn onto Museum Marg and continue for about 500 meters until you reach the entrance of the National Museum of Nepal.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Bhaktapur. Start from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and head east towards the Siddhicharan Highway. Once you reach the highway, turn left and cycle for approximately 9 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the National Museum. When you see Museum Marg, turn left and cycle another 500 meters to reach the museum entrance.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road. Take a local bus heading towards Kathmandu. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at 'Museum Marg'. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Museum Marg, disembark and walk about 500 meters along Museum Marg to reach the National Museum of Nepal.
