Walking
From the center of Carlsbad, head south on S Canal St towards W Texas St. Continue straight onto S 1st St and then turn left onto W Fox St. Walk until you reach the intersection with S Main St, where you will turn right. Continue walking on S Main St for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with W Pierce St. At this point, you should be near the Carlsbad Public Library. From there, catch the local bus (Route 1) heading towards the South Carlsbad area. Get off at the stop near the intersection of National Parks Highway and Rancho California Rd, and proceed to Mount Palomar Winery, which is located at 33820 Rancho California Rd.

Public Transportation
Start at the Carlsbad Transit Center located at 101 N Halagueno St. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards the South Carlsbad area. Stay on the bus for about 35 minutes. You will get off at the Rancho California Rd stop. From there, walk approximately 0.3 miles east on Rancho California Rd until you reach Mount Palomar Winery at 33820 Rancho California Rd.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. Head north on S Canal St, then turn left at W Texas St. Continue until you reach S 1st St, and take a right. Follow S 1st St until you reach W Fox St. Turn left and then immediately right onto S Main St. Continue on S Main St for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with National Parks Highway. Turn left and follow the highway until you reach Rancho California Rd. The winery will be on your right at 33820 Rancho California Rd.
