Turn left onto US-62 and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. You will then reach the Carlsbad town square. From there, head west on W Fox St for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with S Canal St. Turn right on S Canal St and continue walking for another 0.2 miles until you hit the intersection with W Main St. Turn left on W Main St and walk 0.5 miles to the bus station.

    From the Carlsbad town square, walk to the Carlsbad Bus Station located at 101 S Canal St. Check the local bus schedule for routes heading toward La Jolla or nearby areas. You will need to take a bus that connects to a larger transit line heading towards San Diego. Once you arrive in San Diego, transfer to the public transport system (such as the MTS) and take the bus line that heads to La Jolla.
