Car
From Cusco, drive south on the Route 3S towards Sicuani. After approximately 60 km, take a right turn at the intersection towards Tinki. Continue on this road for about 30 km until you reach Tinki. From Tinki, follow the signs to Ausangate. The last part of the journey requires a 2-3 hour drive on a gravel road. Make sure you have a reliable vehicle, preferably a 4x4, as the road can be rough. There are no tolls on this route.

From Cusco, take a bus from the main bus station (Terminal Terrestre) to Sicuani. The bus ride takes about 2-3 hours and costs around 15-20 soles. Once in Sicuani, you will need to transfer to a minivan heading to Tinki. This journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 10 soles. After arriving in Tinki, you can either hike to Ausangate 7 Lagunas (which takes several hours) or hire a local taxi or guide to take you directly to the entrance. Taxi fares can vary, but expect to pay around 50-100 soles for the ride.
