    If you are starting from the São Bento Metro Station, take Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at the Aliados Station. Once you exit the station, head towards Avenida dos Aliados. Walk straight until you reach Praça da Liberdade, then take the road that leads down towards the river, Rua do Almada. Continue straight until you reach the Cais da Ribeira area, and from there, follow the signs to Escadas do Caminho Novo.
