To reach Nyungwe Forest National Park, start your journey on the RN1 highway. Continue on RN1 for about 130 kilometers until you reach the town of Huye. Then, follow signs to the RN6, which leads you directly to the park entrance. The entire trip takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic. Ensure you have a map or GPS for accurate navigation, as the roads can be winding.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To travel by public transport, head to Nyabugogo Bus Terminal in Kigali. Look for buses heading to Huye (also known as Butare). The bus fare is approximately 3,000 RWF (Rwandan Francs) and the journey takes about 2-3 hours. Upon reaching Huye, you will need to take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to Nyungwe National Park, which costs around 10,000 RWF and takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting the ride.
