Car
If you are driving from the center of Volcanoes National Park, head towards the main entrance located in Kinigi. Once at the entrance, continue on the main road (Kinigi Road) for approximately 3.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Red Rocks Botanical Garden on your left. Look for the coordinates HJ85+PWQ, which will guide you directly to the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Red Rocks Botanical Garden using public transport, take a local bus or taxi from Musanze town to Kinigi. The bus station in Musanze has regular departures. Inform the driver that you are heading to Kinigi, and they will drop you off at the main intersection in Kinigi. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk along Kinigi Road heading towards the direction of the park entrance. You will find signs that lead you to Red Rocks Botanical Garden. Make sure to carry cash for the bus fare, which is usually around 1,000 RWF.

Bicycle
For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Kinigi. From the main entrance of Volcanoes National Park, cycle along Kinigi Road for approximately 3.5 kilometers. There are bike rental shops available in Kinigi where you can rent a bicycle. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow the road rules as you navigate towards Red Rocks Botanical Garden, which will be on your left side. This is a great way to enjoy the scenery and wildlife along the way.
