Car
If you are driving from central Berwickshire, take the A1 road heading south towards Edinburgh. Continue on the A1 for approximately 50 miles until you reach the outskirts of Edinburgh. Follow signs for the city center and merge onto the A720 (City Bypass). From the A720, take the exit onto the A71 towards the city center. Once in the city, follow signs for the Old Town to reach Castlehill. You can find parking options nearby, such as the Castle Terrace Car Park which charges approximately £2.50 per hour.

For public transport, take a train from Berwick-upon-Tweed station to Edinburgh Waverley. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Waverley station, exit towards Princes Street and walk towards the Old Town. You can either take a bus (Lothian Buses routes 14 or 30) heading towards the Royal Mile or walk, which will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the Royal Mile, follow the signs to Castlehill to find Camera Obscura & World of Illusions.
