Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, exit the station and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, turn left and walk along East Market Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with North Bridge. Cross North Bridge, and you will have a great view of the Old Town. After crossing, continue straight on the road as it becomes the Mound. The Mound - Place will be located at the top of the hill on your left, near the junction with Princes Street.

    You can catch a bus from various locations around Edinburgh. Look for buses heading towards 'Princes Street' or 'The Mound'. A good bus stop to start from is the 'North Bridge' stop. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the 'Scott Monument' stop. From there, walk towards the Mound, which should be just a short walk away, located at the intersection of Princes Street.
