Getting There

• Underground

  If you're starting from central London, head to the nearest Underground station. For instance, if you're near Piccadilly Circus, take the Piccadilly Line (light blue) towards Cockfosters. After 2 stops, get off at Leicester Square station. From Leicester Square, change to the Northern Line (black) and take the train towards Morden. Get off at the next stop, which is Covent Garden. From Covent Garden station, exit and walk towards the west on Long Acre. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Earlham Street, then turn left onto Earlham Street. Follow it until you reach the junction with Dean Street, where you will turn right. Continue walking until you reach 30 Dean Street, where the Blue Plaque for Karl Marx is located.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, start at Trafalgar Square. Catch bus number 24, which goes to Hampstead Heath. Get off at the stop called 'The Strand / Aldwych'. From there, walk down Aldwych towards the south, then turn left onto Drury Lane. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Great Queen Street, then turn right. Follow Great Queen Street and turn left onto Long Acre. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Earlham Street, then turn left onto Earlham Street. Finally, turn right onto Dean Street, and you will find the Blue Plaque for Karl Marx at 30 Dean Street.

• Walking

  If you're already in Soho, you can easily walk to the Blue Plaque. Start at Soho Square and head south on Charing Cross Road. After a short walk, turn right onto Dean Street. Continue down Dean Street until you reach number 30, where the Blue Plaque for Karl Marx is located. This is a pleasant walk through one of London's vibrant neighborhoods.
