From the parking area at the Montalto Dam, the walk to Pla de Boavi is relatively flat and follows the river Noguera de Lladorre. The well-maintained path is approximately 2.2 km and takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour. There are no costs associated with this final approach.

While direct public transport to Pla de Boavi is limited, you can take a bus from Andorra la Vella to Ordino, then transfer to a local bus towards La Cortinada. This bus stops near the entrance to Pla de Boavi. Check bus schedules in advance as they may be infrequent. The total cost for the bus journey is approximately €5-€7.
