If you are driving from the center of Hobart, take the Brooker Highway (A1) heading north. Follow the signs for the A1 until you reach the junction for the B31 towards Plenty. Continue on the B31 (Plenty Road) for about 25 kilometers. Look for the signs for Salmon Ponds as you approach the area. Turn left onto Salmon Ponds Road, and you will find the entrance to Salmon Ponds and the Museum of Trout Fishing on your right at 70 Salmon Ponds Rd.
