Taxi
Taxis are readily available from most locations on St. Thomas, including the cruise ports and Charlotte Amalie. A taxi from the Charlotte Amalie Cruise Port to Coki Beach is approximately 8 miles and takes about 25 minutes. Expect to pay around $15 per person each way. Taxis are usually shared, so you may be riding with other passengers.
Public Transport
The VITRAN bus system has a route (401 Red Hook/Smith Bay) that stops at Smith Bay Road, a 12-minute walk to Coki Point Beach. The bus schedule can be infrequent, so planning is essential. The cost is minimal, a few dollars per ride. From the bus stop, walk along Coki Point Road to reach the beach.
Driving
If driving, follow Route 38 (Smith Bay Road) to Coki Point Road. A small paid parking lot is available at Coki Beach for $5. Parking is limited and fills up quickly, especially during peak hours and cruise ship days. Roadside parking is also available, but can be hectic.
