Driving
From Yosemite Valley, take Highway 120 west towards Crane Flat. After approximately 45 minutes, turn right at the intersection with Tioga Road. The Tuolumne Grove parking lot will be on your left in about half a mile. Parking is free but can be limited during peak season.

From the Tuolumne Grove parking area, follow the Old Big Oak Flat Road downhill for approximately one mile to reach the Tuolumne Grove. The trail is paved but steep, with a 500-foot elevation change. Once in the grove, follow the signs to the Dead Giant Tunnel Tree. The loop trail through the grove is relatively flat and easy to navigate.
