If you are traveling by car from the Zemplen Mountains, start by heading west on Route 27 towards the town of Sárospatak. Follow signs for Route 3 northbound. Continue on Route 3 until you reach the town of Eger, then merge onto Route 25. Follow Route 25 until it merges with Route 18. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Poprad, Slovakia. Continue on the E50 road, which will take you directly to High Tatras. Once you reach the area, follow signs for Vysoké Tatry. The drive should take about 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.
