Walking
From the center of Richmond, head southeast on Broad Street toward 10th Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach 9th Street. Turn right on 9th Street and walk for two blocks until you reach Bank Street. Turn left onto Bank Street, and after a short walk, you will find the Capitol Visitor's Center at 1000 Bank St, Richmond, VA 23219.
Public Transit (Bus)
If you are near the main bus terminal in downtown Richmond, take the GRTC bus route that heads toward the State Capitol. Board the bus at the terminal and ride for approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to 9th Street and Bank Street. From there, walk two blocks down Bank Street to reach the Capitol Visitor's Center at 1000 Bank St, Richmond, VA 23219.
