If you're traveling by car, Daishoin is located at 210 Miyajimacho, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima 739-0588. From central Hiroshima, take Route 2 towards Hatsukaichi. Continue on Route 2 for about 30 minutes until you reach the ferry terminal for Miyajima. Park your car at the designated parking area near the ferry terminal, which typically costs around 1,000 yen for the day. After parking, take the ferry to Miyajima Island, which costs approximately 180 yen one way. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes. Once on Miyajima Island, follow the signs to Daishoin, which is about a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the JR Sanyo Line from Hiroshima Station to Miyajimaguchi Station, which takes about 30 minutes and costs around 410 yen. Upon arrival at Miyajimaguchi Station, follow the signs to the ferry terminal and purchase a ticket for the ferry to Miyajima Island (costing about 180 yen one way, ferry ride is approximately 10 minutes). Once you arrive at the Miyajima ferry terminal, exit and head towards Daishoin Temple, which is roughly a 15-minute walk from the terminal. Just follow the path leading up the hill, and you’ll see the temple ahead.
