Getting There

    From New Chitose Airport or Sapporo City, take a train to Shintoku Station. From the airport, transfer at Minami-Chitose Station to the Sekisho Line. The journey from Minami-Chitose to Shintoku takes approximately 2.5 hours and costs around ¥4,820. From Shintoku Station, a 15-minute shuttle bus ride to Sahoro Resort is available with prior reservation. A taxi from the station costs around ¥3,000.

    From New Chitose Airport, a direct bus service to Sahoro Resort is available. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and stops at the Sahoro Resort Hotel. Check the Sahoro Express bus schedule for departure times. A one-way ticket costs approximately ¥3,500.

  • Driving

    From Sapporo, take the Doto Expressway to the Tomamu IC exit. Turn right onto Prefecture Road 136 and continue north for 11km until reaching Route 38. Continue on Route 38 for 16km until you see signs for Sahoro Resort on the left. Turn left and follow the road to the ski area base. Parking is available at the base of the ski area. Tolls on the Doto Expressway vary depending on the distance, but expect to pay around ¥3,000 - ¥4,000 from Sapporo.
