Car
If you are driving to Ueno campus, Tokyo University of the Arts, start from central Kai. Head northwest on Route 20 towards Kofu. Merge onto the Chuo Expressway (E20) towards Tokyo. Continue on the expressway for about 90 kilometers. Take the exit toward Ueno from the Shuto Expressway (C1). Follow signs for Ueno and Uenokoen. Once you approach Ueno, look for parking options nearby, as street parking can be limited. The university is located at 12-8 Uenokoen, Taito City, Tokyo 110-8714, right next to Ueno Park.

To reach Ueno campus, Tokyo University of the Arts using public transport, first head to the nearest train station in Kai, which is Kai City Station. Take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. After approximately 90 minutes, change trains at Tokyo Station to the JR Yamanote Line. Take the Yamanote Line towards Ueno Station. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, take the Park Exit. Walk towards Ueno Park, and you will find the university at 12-8 Uenokoen, Taito City, Tokyo 110-8714. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station.
