If you're driving from Osaka, take the Hanazono Expressway and exit at Ikoma IC. Follow the signs towards Ikoma City and then Monzencho. The temple is located at 1-1 Monzencho, Ikoma, Nara 630-0266. Parking is available nearby but may incur a small fee, typically around ¥500. Ensure you check the parking signage for any specific charges.

Public Transportation
From Osaka Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Ikoma Station (approximately 30 minutes). Once at Ikoma Station, exit and take bus number 1 or 2 towards Hozan-ji. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the Hozan-ji stop, and the temple will be within a short walking distance. Note that the bus fare is approximately ¥400 one way.

From Nara, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Ikoma Station (about 20 minutes). Exit the station and walk to the temple, which is approximately a 30-minute walk uphill. The walk will take you through the scenic areas of Ikoma, but be prepared for some steep inclines.
