Car
If you are driving, head towards Ikoma via the Kintetsu Nara Line. Use the Ikoma Interchange on the Kintetsu Nara Expressway. Once you exit the interchange, follow the signs for Ikoma City. Continue on Route 8 (Ikoma Road) and look for signs for Hozan-ji Temple. You will arrive at 1-1 Monzencho, Ikoma, Nara 630-0266. Parking is available nearby.

Take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Nara Station or any nearby station towards Ikoma Station. Once you arrive at Ikoma Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Look for bus number 4 or 5, which will take you directly to Hozan-ji Temple. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Hozan-ji Temple stop, and you will be just a short walk away from the temple entrance.

If you are already in the Ikoma area, you can take the local bus service from Ikoma Station. Board bus number 4 or 5 at the Ikoma Station bus terminal. The bus will take you directly to Hozan-ji Temple. The journey should take about 20 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs to the temple entrance located at 1-1 Monzencho, Ikoma, Nara 630-0266.
