If you are traveling by car, navigate to Kyotogyoen, Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto, 602-0881. From central Kyoto, take the Marutamachi Street and head north until you reach the entrance of Kyoto Gyoen National Garden. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, so have change ready. After parking, walk towards the center of the garden where you will find the Kemari-no-niwa.

To reach Kemari-no-niwa by public transportation, take the Kyoto City Bus #101, #102, or #204 from Kyoto Station. Ride the bus to the 'Kyoto Gyoen' bus stop. From there, enter the Kyoto Gyoen National Garden and walk to the central area where Kemari-no-niwa is located. Ensure you have some yen for the bus fare, which is typically around 230 yen one way.

You can also take the Kyoto Subway to reach Kemari-no-niwa. Board the Karasuma Line at Kyoto Station and travel north to Marutamachi Station (about 10 minutes). Upon exiting the station, head east towards Kyoto Gyoen National Garden. The entrance is approximately a 10-minute walk from the station. Keep some yen ready for the subway fare, which is about 210 yen.
