Car
If you're driving, start by heading east from central Kyoto. Take the Sanjo-dori Avenue and continue straight until you reach the Higashiyama area. Follow signs toward Tofuku-ji Temple, and then turn onto Imakumano Tsuruginomiyacho Street. Tsurugi Shrine will be on your left at 13 Imakumano Tsuruginomiyacho. Look for parking options nearby, as street parking is limited.

Public Transportation
To reach Tsurugi Shrine via public transport, take the Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station to the Shijo Station. Transfer to the Keihan Main Line and get off at Tofukuji Station. From Tofukuji Station, exit and head east towards Tofuku-ji Temple. Continue walking straight until you reach Imakumano Tsuruginomiyacho Street. Turn left, and Tsurugi Shrine will be on your left at number 13. The walk should take about 15 minutes.
