From Nara Station, head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Take the Kyoto-bound bus #50 or #61. After approximately 45 minutes, disembark at the 'Gojozaka' stop. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see a sign for Kawai Kanjiro's House on your left, at 569 Gojozaka, Higashiyama Ward.

Start at Nara Station and take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. Transfer at Yamato-Saidaiji Station to the Kintetsu Kyoto Line. Alight at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. From the station, exit and head east towards Gojozaka. Walk for about 15 minutes, and you will find Kawai Kanjiro's House at 569 Gojozaka, Higashiyama Ward.
