Public Transportation
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at the Shijo Station (approximately 5 stops). At Shijo Station, transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line and take the train towards Arashiyama. Get off at the Kawaramachi Station. From Kawaramachi Station, walk to the bus stop at Shijo Kawaramachi and take bus number 203 or 206. Alight at the Myohoin Maekawacho bus stop. Imahie Shrine is a short walk from the bus stop. Head east on Myohoin Maekawacho, and you will find the shrine at 451-1 Myohoin Maekawacho.

If you are staying in the Higashiyama area, you can reach Imahie Shrine on foot. From Kiyomizu-dera Temple, walk down the hill towards the main road. Continue walking north on Kiyomizu-zaka Street until you reach Sannenzaka. Walk straight until you reach the intersection, then turn right onto Myohoin Maekawacho. Imahie Shrine will be on your left at 451-1 Myohoin Maekawacho.
