Public Transportation
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at the Shijo Station (approximately 5 stops). At Shijo Station, transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line and take the train towards Arashiyama. Get off at the Kawaramachi Station. From Kawaramachi Station, walk to the bus stop at Shijo Kawaramachi and take bus number 203 or 206. Alight at the Myohoin Maekawacho bus stop. Imahie Shrine is a short walk from the bus stop. Head east on Myohoin Maekawacho, and you will find the shrine at 451-1 Myohoin Maekawacho.
