After getting off at the bus stop, walk east for about 5 minutes to reach the museum's main entrance.

    From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at 'Shijo Station' (3 stops). Transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line and take the train towards Kawaramachi. Get off at 'Karasuma Station' (1 stop). From there, walk about 15 minutes east towards the museum. Alternatively, you can take Bus number 100 or 206 from the nearby bus stop to reach 'Kyoto National Museum Mae'.

Cross the river and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Chayacho. Turn left and walk straight for approximately 10 minutes until you see the museum on your right.
